Alert for the Matane–Baie-Comeau–Godbout ferry

The Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) advises customers of the Matane-Baie-Comeau-Godbout ferry that due to a strike by unlicensed employees affiliated with the CSN union, there will be a complete interruption of service between Friday, July 4, 2025 and Sunday, July 13, 2025 inclusively.

Service will be completely interrupted according to the following schedule: 

- Thursday July 3: the last crossing will be at 5:30 p.m. from Baie-Comeau to Matane. All other scheduled crossings are cancelled at this time. 

- Monday, July 14: service will resume as normal with the 8 a.m. crossing from Matane to Godbout.
